Pia Lindner Carino
Born and raised in Osnabrück, Germany; studied Interior Design, Communication Arts and Graphic Design at the Fachhoch-schule Hildesheim, graduated with a Master’s Degree in Design; worked as a graphic designer in Hannover, and 2 years later moved to San Francisco, California.
In 1996 joined Landor Associates, San Francisco as a graphic designer and worked on many international projects; for 2 years managed a design team as design director; then founded CLK Design as a partnership and worked as director and "creative". clkdesign.com.
After 15 years in the USA, I returned to Germany — with plenty of California sunshine in my heart, and with the joy of living and working in my homeland again.
I brought excellent English language skills with me, which could be applied in business relations and when communicating with an international clientele.
My interest for letters, lettering, language, symbols and arts is a big part of my life; whether it is a calligraphic expression or a plain simple square — both can equally excite me.
